Squirrel Made is a creative design studio based right here in Matthews, North Carolina.
The studio may be new to town, but there are more than 20 years of design experience behind it.
Hi, I'm Carine. Designer, idea collector and the person behind Squirrel Made. Before Squirrel Made, I owned and operated CMCKinspired, my design studio in Orlando, Florida, where I spent years helping businesses big and small bring their ideas to life through thoughtful branding, packaging, graphics, marketing and creative design.
A few months ago, I traded Florida for North Carolina and made Matthews home. With a new town came the perfect opportunity for a fresh start—and Squirrel Made was born.
Because good ideas are worth collecting.
Squirrels are curious, resourceful and always gathering something. That felt pretty familiar. I’m constantly collecting ideas, noticing little details, sketching concepts and figuring out how to turn something ordinary into something people remember.
Squirrel Made brings that same curiosity to every project.
From logos and branding to packaging, print, signs, merchandise and custom local goods, the goal is simple: make things that are smart, memorable and just a little unexpected.

One of the things I’m most excited about is becoming part of the Matthews community.
Along with working with local businesses, Squirrel Made is creating a growing collection of Matthews-inspired stickers, apparel, gifts and other fun finds celebrating the places and personality that make our town special.
So yes, we’re the new squirrel in town.
But we’ve been making things for a very long time.
